Many thanks to Martin for organising a very good walk around Cookham and Widbrook Common. We parked on the ‘very quiet residential road’ only to find that is was like a major highway which was very interesting as it was ultimately a dead end. It was a nice long walk around the fields with many opportunities for photos although the insects were not as abundant as we had hoped for. We finished about 9pm in quickly fading light which just emphasised how the days are shortening. Once again it was a new location for many of us so well done Martin.
