‘I get frustrated when I hear such nonsense spoken about photography…usually by people that really have no idea.
Why is is that everyone claims to be a ‘professional’ photographer…yet no-one has ever heard of a ‘professional’ artist, or professional electrician/cabinet maker/plumber…?
And why do photographers spend ages talking about equipment? I have never heard Heston Blumenthal talk about saucepans or cookers…!
These so called ‘professional’ photographers often insist that using the manual mode on your camera makes you a better photographer and yields a better image…so here is my retort from last week!
