On a very warm evening 8 hardy souls met at Winter Hill Car Park, to begin the walk arranged by Dave and Barry. There were many photographic subjects on the route, and by good fortune a group of runners ran across the bridge while we were there, who were no doubt a little surprised to see a wall of cameras taking pictures of their every stride. They must have thought it was the finishing line of the London marathon with so many photographers in attendance. With an abundance of Geese on the river, and a herd of Cows on the path as we returned to the car park, there was something of all sizes for the animal photographers. Huge thanks to Dave and Barry for organising and also to Barry for supplying the bottles of water that were very welcome on such a warm evening.
